Clinical Student in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program

Dr. Tammy Parks, DNP, MSN-RN, PMP joins Asé as a clinical student building her skills in providing therapy as a soon-to-be psychiatric nurse practitioner.  

She is currently enrolled in a Post-Master’s Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. She has over 5 years of experience as an adult primary care nurse practitioner and registered nurse, working with older adults in the District of Columbia long-term care program. Her doctoral studies at the University of Miami focused on social prescribing, an emerging evidence-based practice that addresses social and economic factors along with traditional medical care. 

Her passion is to provide holistic care to promote optimal outcomes for individuals and groups living with social, mental, physical, and/or economic distress.
