Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from the Bowie State University and completed her Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University.
Jennifer coaches millennial couples in improving their communication, establishing healthy conflict resolution skills, and building skills for a lifetime of love. Meeting with couples, Jennifer uses several techniques to assess couples strengths and attention areas; she then employs effective strategies to move couples from surviving to thriving. Jennifer also provides mentoring and coaching to first generation students through 1:1 meetings and groups. This program is great for both undergraduate and graduate/professional students. As a first generation student herself, Jennifer knows that community, support, and information are critical to one’s academic success and mental health.
Jennifer is the proud daughter of El Salvadoran immigrants and a Prince George’s County native. Jennifer loves her cat, Jasper, traveling, and hanging out with her partner.
